It gives us great pleasure to announce that His Eminence Hudur Shaykh al Islam w'al Muslimeen, qibla Shaykh Sayyad Muhammad Madani al-Ashrafi (may Allah preserve and protect him) has now completed 25 (of the 30 chapters) para's translating and commentating (writing the tafasir) of the Noble Qur'an into urdu.
Many people question as to why another attempt at translating the Qur'an? The answer is that the Qur'an is a book of guidance which can only be followed if properly understood. As language continually develops, and the language of yesteryear can prove a barrier to understanding for the reader of today. Previous translators have tried to enhance the esteem of the Noble Qur'an by choosing a distinguished, learned and complicated language.
